Traits such as femininity, kindness, love, are not just for the female gender. All of us have the gift and possibility of feminine traits, just as we all have the potential of masculine strengths. However, some are weighted exceedingly in one direction or the other, and that's where we become unbalanced, and our life gets difficult.
For us to have inner harmony and inner peace, we must be in balance, which means not heavily weighted down with machoism or extreme masculine traits, and vice versa, not overly focused just on the tender and gentle feminine traits, seen by some as weak.
Some people judge masculinity as active, and femininity as passive. But perhaps a better word for passive could be creative or intuitive or insightful or loving. And those traits, whatever gender we find them in, are needed by all of us. When we can all attain balance, whatever that looks like for each one of us, then we will be true to our own self, our unique self, or highest self. And we will be expressing both masculine and feminine talents and blessings.
